The establishment of a school system running to university level was Soka Gakkai 1st President, Tsunesaburo Makiguchi’s dream and it was uphold and actualised by Soka Gakkai 3rd President Daisaku Ikeda.
Soka Kindergartens are established in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil and Korea.
Besides the Soka University of Japan (SUJ), that was established on April 2, 1971, the Soka University of America (SUA) is also established in United States of America, Aliso Viejo, California.
In 2023, the Soka International School Malaysia (SISM) was the first international school to be established in Malaysia to nurture global citizens through humanistic education.
